项久雨，法学博士、政治学博士后。现任武汉大学主流意识形态研究院院长、武汉大学弘毅特聘教授、马克思主义学院博士生导师。教育部“长江学者”特聘教授、享受国务院特殊津贴专家。担任教育部高校思想政治工作队伍培训研修中心（武汉大学）副主任、武汉大学思想政治教育研究院执行院长、武汉大学思想政治教育学科负责人兼学术带头人。兼任东亚人文学会副会长、纽约哥伦比亚大学（Columbia University in the City of New York）研究学者。国家社科基金重大项目首席专家（3项）、中央马克思主义理论研究和建设工程项目负责人、教育部学位评审专家、中央高校基本经费全英文教学改革项目主持人。在《中国社会科学》等国内外期刊发表系列学术论文，分别荣获中宣部第四届、第六届、第七届“期刊主题宣传好文章”，“改革开放40年《中国社会科学》的理论视野”专栏好文章，《中国社会科学》首届年度好文章，其中多篇被《新华文摘》全文转载。在人民出版社等出版著作多部，《守正创新的精神文明》入选中宣部2022年“主题出版重点出版物”、中国社会科学院2022年重点出版项目。所撰写的咨询报告获中央领导同志重要批示或被中央办公厅等部门采纳多篇。科研成果获教育部第九届高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖一等奖，湖北省第十三届社会科学优秀成果一等奖，武汉大学2022年学术成果特等奖等奖励多项。

Professor Jiuyu Xiang’s profile

Professor Xiang,Doctor of Laws,Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Science,serves as Dean of Wuhan University Academy of Mainstream Ideology and Hongyi Distinguished Professor.He works as Distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars programmed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.He is also the special government allowance expert of the State Council.He serves as Deputy Director of the Ideological and Political Workforce Training Center of the Ministry of Education (Wuhan University),as well as Executive Dean of Wuhan University Academy of Ideological and Political Education.Since years ago,he has been acting as Vice-President of the East Asian Humanities Association and Research Scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York.He acts as chief expert of three major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China,the head of the Central Marxism Theory Research and Construction Project Project,the expert of the Ministry of Education's Degree Review, and the moderator of the Central Universities' Basic Funding All-English Teaching Reform Project.For years Professor Xiang has published a series of academic papers in domestic and international journals such as Social Sciences in China.The papers have won the fourth,sixth and seventh awards for “good articles on thematic propaganda in periodicals” issued by the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China.He has won the first annual good article-prize organized by the famous Journal of Social Sciences in China.A number of his papers have been reprinted in full by “Xinhua Digest”.The policy research reports written by Professor Xiang have received important instructions from the leading comrades of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China or have been adopted by the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and other departments.Professor Xiang has published many books with People's Publishing House,etc.. The monograph ”Spiritual Civilization on Cultural Tradition and Innovation”has been selected as one of the “Key Publications for Thematic Publishing”by the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China in 2022 and a key publication project of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2022.The scientific research achievements have won a number of awards such as the First Prize of the Ninth Award for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities (Humanities and Social Sciences),the First Prize of the Thirteenth Hubei Province Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences,and the Special Prize of the Academic Achievements of Wuhan University in 2022.
